Commented on Trash Talking and End Runs at NASA HQ
So, to be clear, you have multiple sources who have asked to remain anonymous for fear of retribution? And you have verified that these sources don't have a particular axe to grind, or you've identified their bias as such? Without... -

OK, Keith, following your own advice - where's your facebook page, including your performance plan, etc.? This is an absurd request, of course. We don't need to be wasting taxpayer dollars paying civil servants to troll social networking sites. Keith's... -

Stu Nozette Arrested for Espionage
ISRO clarifies over Nozette’s arrest http://www.duniyalive.com/?p=69861 By Mahua Ray Das Bangalore: According to the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), US Senior scientist David Nozette is not a threat for ISRO’s activities. Stu Nozette Arrested for Espionage
"The spy who lost his thumb drives" Asia Times Online http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/KJ23Ak01.html [...] "Is India, in fact, "Country A" which is named throughout the court documents that have been revealed by US authorities? One can only guess. When an attempt was made just a few weeks ago to fly ISRO's Chandrayaan-1 lunar probe in tandem with NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) so that the synthetic aperture radars on both spacecraft could engage in so-called bi-static observations of the lunar surface, Nozette was standing by to help ensure success on August 20 as these two spacecraft - only 20 kilometers apart -...

Everything I publish, everything, has to be approved by several levels of management then go to Document Review and Export Control. This takes days, at best. It takes a non-negligible amount of time to fill out the forms, even though they are online. ITAR makes the individual criminally responsible for anything released. If you make a bad decision, off to jail for you, so there's not a lot of incentive to push the processes in place. Yes,...
